Funeral plans have been finalized for Todd's funeral service so we wanted to make sure everyone had the details. The funeral service is scheduled for July 1 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Fort Myer Memorial Chapel. The chapel is located at 101 Mcnair Rd., Arlington, Virginia 22211.

Anyone attending is advised to be there no later than 8:30 AM. The entire service, procession, and gravesite ceremony is expected to take 1 1/2 hours. A reception will be held at the Ft. Myer Officer's Club afterwards. All attendees are welcome.

"I remember Todd from serving in the same unit and sharing a range with him. He was all that you stated and then some. Without a doubt, an asset to his country in uniform and out-a leader in every respect. Clearly the soldier you want to have as a battle buddy and the epitome of a citizen soldier. I am truly sorry for your loss."

"As Todd's therapeutic massage therapist, I have had the honor of knowing Todd for almost 10 years. It was heartbreaking to learn of his ordeal with cancer and to watch as he slowly declined. He was not as worried about himself as he was in ensuring that he had things in order for his family. Todd is one of the most caring souls and will truly be missed. Please look for signs. He will remain with his loved ones. He will now play in the park with his girls by watching over them. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time."

"...I served with Todd in Iraq in 2008. I always enjoyed many conversations with him and was absolutely devastated to hear about what has happened. Simply, he is a lovely, genuine, and sincere man and this news brings me to tears. While I do not know them personally, I am happy to help and support Todd's family any way I can. I have a bunch of images of Todd from his 2008 deployment to Iraq. In fact, some of these images are from Todd himself…" (from an e-mail posted with Rich's permission)
